Before & After Results: Male Secondary Rhinoplasty with Nasal Valve Repair
Procedure: Male secondary rhinoplasty with internal and external nasal valve reconstruction using auricular cartilage and gull-wing technique (endonasal/closed approach).
Goal: Restore proper nasal function by repairing damaged valves after prior rhinoplasty, while maintaining a natural masculine appearance without surgical stigmata.
This patient had undergone a previous rhinoplasty that resulted in injury to both the internal and external nasal valves, causing significant obstruction during inspiration. Preoperative analysis and basal view images showed dynamic collapse during breathing.
To address this, Dr. Escobar performed a Male Secondary Rhinoplasty using a classic Seagull-wing Technique using auricular cartilage grafts to reestablish valve function and reinforce nasal support. This procedure, male secondary rhinoplasty, allowed correction without visible scars, while preserving strong masculine proportions.
Closed Revision Rhinoplasty Nasal Valve Repair Postoperative results include:
- Restoration of nasal valve function with improved inspiratory dynamics.
- Use of auricular cartilage grafts for long-term structural support.
- Natural, masculine outcome with no signs of prior surgical damage.
- Functional and aesthetic harmony demonstrated in before-and-after videos of nasal breathing.

Closed Rhinoplasty
After my previous rhinoplasty, my breathing gradually worsened until my nose felt permanently blocked. I decided to look for a surgeon who could truly solve the problem. From my very first consultation with Dr. Escobar, he clearly explained the cause and the options available to fix it. Following my surgery with him, I noticed an immediate functional improvement. Today, I can breathe normally again—and I’m genuinely grateful to Dr. Escobar.<br>
